Stand Up to Cancer, Channel 4, 1st December 2025, 7.55 pm

Chloe Sterling, a member of the Stomach Cancer UK community, will be on Channel 4 tonight, 1st December 2024, at 7.55 pm, sharing her experience of stomach cancer as part of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Diagnosed with stomach cancer at the age of 28, Chloe had never heard about stomach cancer before her diagnosis and had no idea what to expect following surgery. As a young woman, she felt even more isolated as her diagnosis paused her plans to get married and start a family.

Since she had her life-saving gastrectomy, she has returned to her full-time job as a nurse and is planning her wedding. She has helped countless people through her online presence, both here in the UK and overseas. She describes, first-hand, how she has lived with stomach cancer and describes the challenges she has faced along the way. She strives to ensure others can recognise symptoms and better understand this relatively unknown cancer to achieve the best possible outcome.

Chloe campaigns for better treatment options alongside raising awareness and support. Her motivation for being involved with Stand Up To Cancer is to help others not feel so alone. She hopes that she can share much-needed information about stomach cancer and help others push for the answers they need when they need them.
